For this series of posts, I am building Archimedean solids with Magnetix. The link is to an article explaining the Archimedean solids and giving pictures like the one here to show each Archimedean solid.
I should explain that in building figures with Magnetix, internal reinforcement is often necessary. The internal reinforcement is itself often interesting visually. Occasionally, external reinforcement is also needed, particularly for solids with pentagonal faces; I will note the existence of external reinforcement when applicable.
